OFFICIAL RULES – “ASCENSIONX SCEPTER GIVEAWAY”

1. ORGANIZER

The “AscensionX Scepter Giveaway” contest is organized by AscensionX / CreationX, a company based in Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.

This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook, Instagram, or Meta, and is in no way affiliated with these platforms.

2. ELIGIBILITY

This giveaway is open to all individuals aged 18 years or older who reside in:

Canada (including Quebec);
The United States (48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia);
Participating countries within the European Union.

No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited by law.
Employees, representatives, or agents of AscensionX, as well as anyone living in the same household, are not eligible to participate.

3. CONTEST PERIOD

The giveaway begins on October 23, 2025, and ends on November 6, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
Entries received after this deadline will not be eligible.

4. HOW TO ENTER

To participate, entrants must:
1- Follow AscensionX on Facebook or Instagram;
2- Like the official giveaway post;

3- Tag at least one person in a comment on the giveaway post.

(Optional): Share the post to your story or feed for an extra chance to win.
Only one entry per person. Any attempt to participate using multiple accounts, bots, or automated systems will result in disqualification.

5. PRIZE

One (1) prize will be awarded:
An AscensionX LARP LED Scepter – Prototype, provided by AscensionX.

This is a functional prototype of our upcoming three-mode lighting model (flame, bright white, and dynamic multicolor).
The regular retail version of this product is valued at $195 CAD, but since the prize is a prototype, its estimated value is set at $150 CAD.

Prize delivery:

The prize may be:

Picked up in person in Longueuil, Quebec, Canada; or
Shipped internationally at the winner’s expense, including shipping and any applicable customs or import fees.

The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and non-redeemable for cash.

6. WINNER SELECTION AND CLAIMING

The random draw will take place on November 7, 2025, in Longueuil (QC).
One winner will be selected from all eligible entries using a random selection tool.
A record of the draw will be kept for transparency.

The winner will be contacted via direct message (Facebook or Instagram) and must respond within 7 days to claim the prize.
If the winner fails to respond, a new winner may be selected.

7. GENERAL CONDITIONS

AscensionX reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the giveaway in case of fraud, technical issues, or force majeure.
By entering, participants grant AscensionX permission to announce their name and/or photo to publicize the winner.
AscensionX assumes no responsibility for lost, delayed, or misdirected entries, or for technical errors affecting participation.

8. DATA PROTECTION

Personal information collected (name, username, contact information) will be used solely for the administration of this giveaway and the delivery of the prize.
Data will be handled in accordance with Canadian privacy laws and the European Union’s GDPR.

Participants may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data by emailing info@ascensionx.ca.

9. GOVERNING LAW

This giveaway is governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada.
Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
